REGISTER RESULT MANUALLY

Register a result on a race where you have not registered a result before.

Important information! To be able to add a result you need to be a registered participant on the race.
How to register as a participant

There are three ways to manually register a result

• Add time and distance
• Upload a GPX-file
• Import an activity for a watch
  You are able to connect RaceONE with Garmin Connect, Polar Flow and Suunto.

Add time and distance

1. Go to the race page in the app
2. Click YOUR RESULT
3. Chose the option ADD RESULT
4. Fill in time and distance
   
   • Total time: The total time it took you to finish your activity
   • Time at finish: The time when you crossed the finish line (reached the finish distance of the race)
   • Total distance: The total distance of your activity
5. Click SAVE
6. You are able to add photos that confirm your result

Important information!
The organizers are able to deactive the possibility to accept registrations of this kind, and you might have to register a result by uploading a GPX file or collect and activity from you watch. If you are unsure, please contact the organizer.

Upload GPX

1. Go to the race page in the app.
2. Click YOUR RESULT
3. Chose the option ADD A RESULT
4. Click IMPORT GPS DATA
5. Chose the option GPX FILE
   
6. Click CHOSE FILE
7. Select the GPX that you want to add as a result on the race
8. Click UPLOAD
9. When you receive a confirmation that the file is uploaded - click SAVE

Important information!
You will only be able to upload a GPX file that includes ONE activity.

Collect an activity from your watch

1. Go to the race page in the app
2. Click YOUR RESULT
3. Chose the option ADD RESULT
4. Click IMPORT GPS DATA
5. Chose the option TRAINING WATCH
   
6. Select the activity you want to add and click IMPORT
   Do note that if you recently connected RaceONE with Garmin Connect it might take up to an hour before your activity is ready.
   You need to connect to you Polar Flow before you start your activity - we cannot access older activities.
   
7. When you receive a confirmation that the file is uploaded - click SAVE

How to connect RaceONE with Garmin, Polar or Suunto

Upload photos as evidence

Important information!
These photos are only intended to be complementary to the already manually registered result.
The photo itself will not automatically turn into a valid result.

A valid photo could be a screenshot of your activity from another service that tracks GPS, a photo of your training watch, etc.

1. Register a result according one of the options above
2. Go back to the race page and click YOUR RESULT
3. Click ADD IMAGE PROOF
   
4. Select the photo you want to upload
5. Click UPLOAD

You are able to upload more than one photo - but only one at the time.
To add more photos you need to manually add more - one by one

How to edit an already registered result.

There are three ways to manually edit a result

Add time and distance

1. Go to the race page in the app
2. Click YOUR RESULT
3. Chose the option ADD RESULT
4. Fill in time and distance
   
   • Total time: The total time it took you to finish your activity

   • Total distance: The total distance of your activity
5. Click SAVE
