What is "official results" and "live gps"?

Live-gps is activated by the participant in the RaceONE-app prior to the race. This will activate the GPS on the phone and enable followers to see the exact position, distance, and speed of the participant during the entire race.

Official results is information that is being sent to us from the race organizers. We will always have the start and finish time, and most races also have addtional split times. Between split times we will estimate position and distance of the participant and display this on the map.

If the information between live-gps and official result differs we will prioritize the information from the race organizer (official results).
